J.J. Memorial Match 7/12/26 Results

We had a great turnout at the first James J.J. Johnston memorial Groundhog Match, 23 shooters competed today, 7/12.

  Coming out on top of the Custom Class was Frank Carrier of Summerville with a score of 196 and 6X's.  With the bonus money from generous donations, he took home a hefty $305.00. Second place went to Ed Watt, of Loretto, with a score of 194 and 4X's. Third was Bill Wielder, of Loganton, with a score of 192 and 4X's.

  The Factory Varmint Class was won by Steven Strouse of Reynoldsville and second was David Shaw of Curwensville.

Deer Match RESULTS 7/19/26

We held our monthly 400 Yard Deer Match on Sunday the 19th.

The top deer slayer was James Eazor, of Reynoldsville, with a near perfect score of 98 out of a possible 100. Second place went to Gene Delp of Brookville and third was Alvin Lee of Duncansville.

The Sporter Class went to Joel Dutra of Grampian and second was Tom Hamilton of Curwensville.

The group match was won by Jim Waltenbaugh of Apollo. He fired a 5 shot group, at 400 yards, that measured .913".
