Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order by Jeremy Smith at 7:30 p.m. on November 13th, 2010

The August minutes were presented by Randy Mitchell and approved on a motion by Joel Dutra nd Breck Neeper. The treasurer’s report was presented by the Jeremy Smith and approved on a motion by Dave McNeel and Andy Shaffer.

Old Business
Andy Shaffer reported that the tractor brakes need repaired. He has an estimate of $300.00 for standard repair and $500.00 if the tractor must be disassembled. Jim Johnston made a motion to have the brakes repaired and the motion passed on a Shannon McKee second.

New Business
The PRWA Pheasant hunt was recently held in St. Mary’s and Marty Hrin and Jeremy Smith acted as guides. Tickets were distributed for our annual gun drawing by Joel Dutra. Members are encouraged to sell tickets and can contact Joel Dutra, George McCoy or Randy Mitchell if they need tickets to sell for the drawing, which will be held at the March meeting.

Andy Shaffer has pulled his coyote traps from the club property. The board is to schedule a meeting to rewrite the alcohol policy for the club. Bob McClure reminded the members that the water for the club needs to be shut off and drained.

We have received an updated assessment for the changes to the canopy at the club. Randy Mitchell will look into the assessment at the court house. Charles Bungo made a motion to purchase a new 911 sign for the club from the GPB Fire company at a cost of $8.00.

The election of officers will be done at the December meeting. Members are urged to write the names of nominees on the chalkboard in the club. Walt has tickets for the members only drawing which is held at the December meeting. The tickets are $15.00 and are only available to members. The prize is a walnut and synthetic Remington 700 in 6mm.

Dave McNeel won the $11.00 50/50 drawing.

Bob McClure made a motion to adjourn and Walt Kuzemchock seconded the motion.

Ron Bailey Sr. nails perfect score in 400-yard bullseye match

The day started out perfect, no wind and mild teperatures, then we hung targets and the cold, wind and rain showed up.  Thirty-six targets were shot and scores were good.  Ron Bailey Sr. shot a perfect 50 out of 50 using a .30 BR.  Here are the full results:
