Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club: September 2026

CLUB PROFILE

Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club was founded in 1958 by 34 charter members to promote the welfare of wildlife and the shooting sports.

The 50-acre club property is situated off Rt. 219 on Viaduct Road in the village of Chestnut Grove, PA.

With a full roster limit of 50 members, the club meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month. Visitors are welcome at all monthly meetings and most club activities.

The club conducts IBS, IR 50/50, and 400-yard shooting matches, chukar and pheasant hunts, trap shoots and steak feeds, and an annual gun raffle in December.

Facilities include:

- Five-room farmhouse;
- Lighted 100 -200-yard IBS-regulation outdoor shooting range with enclosed shooting benches and loading area;
- 100, 200, 300 and 400-yard outdoor range with 10 shooting positions covered by a roof;
-Three-acre pond reclaimed and supporting bass, panfish and other aquatic life.

- Trap shooting range with enclosed trap house;
- Outdoor IR 50/50 rimfire benchrest range with roof-covered shooting benches

This is a Bi-Pod only match, any rifle, any scope.

*Due to the shortage of 22 LR ammunition and the low turn out at matches last year, we have no plans of having rimfire matches at this time.*

The hunt will be held on , starting at 10:00 AM.

The derby will be held on , starting at 10 AM, and is for any child under the age of 12.
There is no charge and bait will be supplied.
Prizes will be awarded in age groups, food and drinks will be supplied by the Club.
