We held our final winter match of the season on Saturday the 13th. 18 competitors battled winds of 20 to 40 mph all day long.
Coming out on top of the Custom Class with the, score of 199 out of a possible 200, was Tyler Smith of Glen Richey. There was a three-way tie for second, with identical scores of 198, between Frank Carrier of Summerville, Delmas Burkett of Burkett, and Stu Smith of Hormtown.
The Heavy Varmint Class was won by Caz Silvis of Brookville. Second and third were David Shaw of Curwensville and Dean Brosius of Olivesburg.
The side group match went Burkett with a 5 shot group, @ 200 yards, that measured .831".

Jack Balon has finished 1st at every match this year. It has been decided that there will be a $20.00 bounty on his head in addition to the 1st prize money.
19 shooters showed up our second annual "Kill Phil" Groundhog Match.
Taking first place with a 208 was Jack Balon of Ebensburg. Jeremiah Keefe of Hastings followed with a close second with a 207. Third place was a 4 way tie between Gina Kunselman of Punxsutawney, David Shaw of Curwensville, Stuart Smith of Reynoldsville and Steve Brennen of Ridgeway with identical 205's.
Delmas Burkett of Burkett Hollow won the group match with a 5 shot group, at 200 yards, that measured .410".

Our 2nd annual "Kill Phil" match is coming up on the 10th. 20 record shots @ 200 yards. This match is open to the public and starts at 10:00AM.
Facilities include:
- Five-room farmhouse;
- Lighted 100 -200-yard IBS-regulation outdoor shooting range with enclosed shooting benches and loading area;
- 100, 200, 300 and 400-yard outdoor range with 10 shooting positions covered by a roof;
-Three-acre pond reclaimed and supporting bass, panfish and other aquatic life.
- Trap shooting range with enclosed trap house;
- Outdoor IR 50/50 rimfire benchrest range with roof-covered shooting benches
