January 11, 2014 Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order by Tom Hamilton at 7:30 p.m.
The December minutes were presented by Randy Mitchell and approved on a motion by Scott Brubaker and a second by Ken Straub. The treasurer’s report was presented by George McCoy and approved on a motion by Steve Strouse and a second by Tom Noble.
Members are notified that the $30.00 club dues are due before the April Meeting and any point money owed must also be paid by the April meeting.
Old Business
Tom Hamilton thanked the members for a successful raffle. Ed Spencer cleaned out the corn crib in preparation for us to get more corn. Volunteers are needed for the 1/25-1/26 Grice sale and show to man the table for our club.
New Business
Randy Mitchell will contact the fellow with the donated corn and try to schedule the weekend of 1/18 to pick up a couple loads. Ed Spencer and Travis Spencer volunteered to load and haul the corn.
Club member Bud Ellis has an almost new fuel oil furnace that he would sell and install in the club for $800 to $1000. Scott Brubaker made a motion to authorize the furnace purchase and installation and the motion passed on a Walt Kuzemchock second. We also discussed pricing a new fuel oil tank and purchasing no more than 100 gallons of fuel.
Andy Shaffer discussed buying new seed and having the fields sprayed prior to planting. Andy also reported he will need some repair parts for the plows. He will check on pricing and report back next month.
Steve Strouse made a motion to buy the supplies for Joe Mitchell and Mike Straub to refurbish the camp and the motion passed on a Jeremy Smith second.
Steve Strouse reported a new plinker league is forming at the Hormtown Range (near Falls Creek) and interested parties should contact him.
Respectfully submitted by Randy Mitchell secretary.

Caution - Icy driveway
If you are entering the club grounds, please be very careful because the driveway is a sheet of ice. I know this because I slid right past the club house and clear down to the tractor shed last night, and I don't look for it to get any better in the next couple of days. Randy
