50 Acre - meeting

Club Members;

We would like to have a meeting to discuss the possible purchase of the 50 acre Bachelier property .
This tract of land lies south of the club property and encompasses 50 acres.
This property is currently listed for $200,000 but is offered to the club at a previously agreed offering price of $160,000.

Please respond to this email with your interest, days of the week and times that are good for you to meet at the club if you are interested in discussing:
  1. Interest in a group purchase of the land for club use.
  2. Financing options.
  3. Individual interest in buying the property.
  4. Pros and cons of purchasing the property.
  5. Possible funding options etc....

 They don't make land anymore and I would like to explore any possible way of protecting the club from potentially hostile neighbors.

Kill Phil 2/7/26 RESULTS




We held our annual Kill Phil match on Saturday the 7th. The competitors were shooting through blowing snow and 35 mph winds. It was difficult to say the least.

The top Groundhog killer was Delmas Burkett of Burkett Hollow. Following in second was Kim Weidler of Loganton and third was Austin Sass of Olanta.

The top shot in the Factory Varmint Class was Danielle Strouse of Reynoldsville.

The Group Match was won by Frank Carrier of Summerville. He fired a 5 shot group, at 200 yards, that measured .995".

Winter Match RESULTS 1/10/26



We held our first winter match of the season on 1/10.

  The winner of the Custom Class was Kim Weidler of Loganton, followed very closely by her husband Bill Weidler. Third place was a tie between Jeremiah Keefe of Hastings and Dave Gilson of Summerville.

  The winner of the Factory Varmint class was Steven Strouse of Reynoldsville and second place went to an up and coming young shooter, Tucker Bakaysa of Smithmill.

 The group match was won by Jeremiah Keefe with a 5 shot group at 200 yards that measured .460".

Deer match RESULTS 10/19/25



We held our annual Deer Rifle Challenge Match today, 10/19.

  For the first time in this match, we had a tie.

  The two competitors coming out on top were Jeff Sass, of Curwensville and Frank Carrier, of Summerville.

  The winner of the group match was Tom Hamilton of Curwensville. He fired a 5 shot group, at 400 yards, that measured 2.848".
