Groundhog Match RESULTS 8/10/25

 We held our monthly Groundhog Match today, 8/10. The temperature was nice, but a little windy. There were 20 shooters in attendance.

  The top gun in the Custom Class was Bill Weidler of Loganton followed by Frank Carrier of Summerville and Austin Sass of Curwensville.

  Carl Blose of Marion Center was the winner of the Factory Class with Wayne Letham of Marion Center finishing second and Dwaine Roush of Reynoldsville taking third.

  The winner of the group match was Gene Delp of Brookville. He fired 5 shots, at 200 yards, that measured .868".

Work Party 8/30/25



There is a work party scheduled for August 30th at 8 am to repair and enlarge the dock. If you own waders, bring them along. Thank you.

Deer Target RESULTS 7/20/25



GATES MAKES A CLEAN SWEEP AT THE DEER MATCH!


  We held our monthly Deer Target Match today, 7/20.  Winning the score match and the group match firing a 1.475", 5 shot group at 400 yards, was Jeff Gates of Altoona. 2nd went Frank Carrier of Summerville and third was Alvin Lee of Duncansville.

  Coming out on top in Factory Varmint Class was David Shaw of Curwensville.

Groundhog Match RESULTS 7/13/25



Jeremiah Keefe cleans up!                                       We held our monthly Groundhog Match on Sunday, July 13th. Jeremiah Keefe, of Hastings, not only won the score match, but also won the group match firing a 5 shot group, at 400 yards, that measured 1.1".  Tying for second was Bill Weidler of Loganton and Frank Carrier of Summerville.  Taking 1st in the Factory Class was Carl Blose, second was Barry Blose  and third was Wayne Letham all of Marion Center.

Tack Driver RESULTS 6/28/25




WHAT A MATCH!

We held the Tack Driver Lite Match on Saturday, 6/28 and it did not disappoint. There were competitors from 6 different states. The match was a combination of 3, 200 yard score and 3, 200 yard group targets at 300 yards.

The weather was not what we expected, we prepared for all day rains and only got a 15 minute shower, it was a great day.

After 7 hours of shooting, the top gun was Rod Morton of Gettysburg, PA.  He was followed by John Stewart of Queenstown MD and Jack Balon of Ebensburg PA.

The High Female shooter was Kim Weidler of Loganton PA. The High Group Aggregate was won by John Riley of Long Bottom OH. The High Score Target was Mike Krause of Wilmington DE. Also winning the High Score Aggregate was Rod Morton.

Deer Target RESULTS 6/22/25




We held our monthly Deer target match on Sunday, the 22nd. Competitors battled heat and wind.

  Coming out on top was Delmas Burkett of Punxsutawney, followed by Mike Huth of Punxsutawney and Alvin Lee of Duncansville.

  The group match was won by Jeff Sass of Curwensville. He had a five shot group, at 400 yards that measured 0.835".

Groundhog Match RESULTS 6/15/25



We held our monthly Groundhog Match today. 6/15. There were 24 competitors in attendance.

  Conditions were pretty tough with all the food.

  Jeremiah Keefe, of Hastings, continues his dominance in the Custom Class with another first place finish. Finishing a close second was Austin Sass , of Curwensville. There was a tie for third between Jeff Gates of Altoona and Bill Weidler of Loganton.

  The Factory Class winner was Barry Blose of Marion Center, followed by Carl Blose of Marion Center.

  The group match was won by Keefe, with a 5 shot group at 400 yards that measured 1.108".

5/18/2025 Deer Match RESULTS




We held our first 400 Yard Deer Target Match today, 5/18.

  What a blast it was, literally.  The wind was bad, with up to 40 mph gusts, and kept switching directions.

  The Custom Class had a 3 way tie for first between Austin Sass of Olanta, Alvin Lee of Duncansville and Delmas Burkett of Burkett Hollow Rd.

  The Factory Varmint Class winner was David Shaw of Curwensville followed by Joel Dutra of Grampian.

Dutra also won the Deer Rifle Class.

  Jeremiah Keefe of Hastings won the group match, firing a 5 shot group at 400 yards that measured 1.457".

Last Winter Groundhog Match RESULTS




Jeremiah Keefe, of Hastings, was the big winner of our last Winter Groundhog Match. He took first place in the Unlimited Class and won the group match with a 5 shot group, at 200 yards that measured .495".  Following close behind, by only 1 point, was Kim Weidler of Loganton. Tied for third was Stu Smith of Hormtown and Mike Park of Mayport.

  Steven Strouse of Reynoldsville, continued to dominate the Factory Class by winning the season finale. Second was David Shaw , of Curwensville, and third was Brian Baird of Luthersburg.

Groundhog Match Results 3/8/25



We held our monthly Groundhog Match on Saturday the 8th.

  Top gun, in the Unlimited Class was Austin Sass of Olanta. 2nd went to Jack Balon of Ebensburg and a 3 way tie for 3rd between Jeff Sass of Curwensville, Gene Delp of Brookville and Charles Delp of Brookville.

  The Factory Class was won by Steven Strouse of Reynoldsville, followed by David Shaw of Curwensville and Tanner Reitz.

  The group match was won by Pat Demeglio, of Saylorsburg, with a group at 200 yards that measured .667".

Kill Phil 2025



We held our annual "Kill Phil" match on Saturday the February 8th. There were 20 competitors in attendance.

  Coming out on top, with a score of 205, was Hastings native, Jeremiah Keefe.  Second place went to Jack Balon of Ebensburg and third was Kim Weidler of Logan on. The Factory Class was won by Steven Strouse of Reynoldsville.

  Bill Weidler, of Loganton, won the group match with a 5 shot group, at 200 yards, that measured .673".

Groundhog Results 1/11

We held our first Winter Groundhog Match of the year on Saturday, 1/11. There were 18 shooters in attendance.

  The Custom Class winner was Jack Balon of Ebensburg, second was Stu Smith of Reynoldsville and third was Austin Sass of Olanta.

  The Factory Class winner was Caz Silvis of Brookville, followed by Dean Brosious of Punxsutawney.

  Jeremiah Keefe, of Hastings, won the side group match with a 5 shot group at 200 yards that measured .853".
