Work needs to be done before winter

First, I want to thank the membership for all the hard work they have done this year. I have had several compliments on how nice our club grounds are looking, but there are still things that need done before winter.

1. 50-yard backstop needs finished

2. Brush along the driveway needs cut back

3. Brush and small trees around our apple trees need cut down or removed

Second, I hope I am not beating a dead horse, but someone was shooting clay pigeons at the 400-yard range and had them set above the first section of match target holders and shot several new holes in the cross-member. We have been telling the membership for awhile about this problem, but someone evidently thinks he is a much better shot than he is. If any member sees someone doing this, please call me or one of the officers. It won't be long before we will need to replace target holders if this continues.

Finally, sometime between Friday and Sunday afternoon someone shot the lights out of the 100-yard enclosure. The shot was very high and went through the wood above the anglesd metal plate, through the light fixture, blowing out both bulbs and putting a big hole in the light cover. This is going to be an expensive repair and whoever did it needs to step up and take care of it. We needs this done well before the next IBS match.

Thanks,

- Hammy
