Work party does fantastic job of getting ready for fishing derby

We had a great day at the work party on Saturday, July 21,  and we are ready for the fishing derby next Saturday, July 28 . Eleven people showed up to give us a hand at the work party.

Weed eaters, mowers, hammers and drills were running for almost four hours. The pond looks great! There are many places cut out for the kids to fish the whole way around the pond.

I would like to thank Wayne Hicks, Brian Brubaker, Breck Neeper, Andy Shaffer, Steve McClure, Jeremy, Caleb and Audrey Smith for a great job mowing and weed eating.

Tom Noble and Carl Huss did a fantastic job building and hanging a new door on the trap house.

Thank you very much fellows.

Our membership needs to give a special thanks to new member, Rick Knisley, for his work on our farm tractor. Rick picked up the tractor, made all the repairs, washed it, serviced it and brought it back in great shape with no labor cost to the club.

We moved 2 of the picnic tables down by the dock.  These will be put in the grove after next Saturday. I want to remind everyone that is going to help next week to come up to the club around 12 noon so we can take down chairs, tables and get things ready for the kids.
