Caution - Icy driveway
If you are entering the club grounds, please be very careful because the driveway is a sheet of ice. I know this because I slid right past the club house and clear down to the tractor shed last night, and I don't look for it to get any better in the next couple of days. Randy

A year end message for the members from Tom Hamilton
To the membership,
Another year has come and gone, goes faster as you get older, and we have gotten a lot accomplished this past year. The front of the club house has been rebuilt, our second fishing derby was a great success, the area around the apple trees has been cleared, made a lot of contacts at Grices's shooters sale, another successful raffle and the list goes on.
With all of the fun and things accomplished this year, we need to remember that we lost a wonderful member this past September, Dennis Mollura. He was our web master, took care of communications for the club and has taken care of sending out news letters in the past. He will be greatly missed. Thanks to Randy Mitchell and Dennis's wife, we now have our website up and running again.
This coming year has a list of things that we will need to get done. The over flow pipe at the pond has rusted off, causing the water level to go done, the dock needs new pipes put in, side the rest of the club house, clear weeds and brush in preparation for our fishing derby, the 100 and 200 yard back stops need a little work and painted and general maintenance of the club grounds.
In addition to the above suggestions, I want to encourage members to take the initiative to do work around and in the club. If you see something that needs done, go ahead and do it. If it is something that requires money or help, bring your idea to the meeting so it can be approved. Also, if you have a story or pictures that you would like to put on our website, send them to our web master, Randy M., so the rest of us can enjoy them.
I want to thank the members that worked at improving our club this year, you did a great job!
God bless all of you and your families, hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Tom Hamilton
President A.C.S.C.

Meeting was called to order by Tom Hamilton at 7:30 p.m.

Mike Hickman cleaned up around the pond and stored the canoe. Mike Straub and Joe Mitchell have finished the siding on the front of the club house. Scott Brubaker restocked the kitchen. George McCoy reported that he and Eric are still having trouble with Coca Cola and we still do not have a new pop machine. George negotiated the bill from $270 to $90. Several members are checking for alternative pop vendors. Walt Kuzemchock reviewed the water test of the pond done by Mahaffey Labs and the results were all good to very good. Raffle tickets are available and members are reminded that you will get a point for each 10 tickets sold.
New Business
A discussion was held concerning replacing the furnace in the club house. It was decided that we will look for a replacement oil furnace that can be put in the basement and will heat the gun room as well as the club house. Bud Ellis reported that there would be no problem putting a timer on the furnace to limit the time that it will run. Wayne Hicks is going to donate several large canopies to the club. The match directors will meet in January to schedule the matches for 2014. Tom Hamilton suggested why buy better seeds for planting the fields the donated seeds have not been growing that well. Officers elections will be held in December and nominations can be written on the blackboard in the club house.
George McCoy won the door prize.
Bob Huston made a motion to adjourn which was seconded by Ken Straub.

Another test for ownership of the Anderson Creek Blogspot
Due to the recent death of our good friend and fellow member Dennis Mollura we have been unable to access our website (WWW.ANDERSONCREEK.BLOGSPOT.COM). Our thanks go out to the Mollura family for finding and providing us with the password to maintain our blog spot. We are striving to maintain the confidentiality we have been entrusted with and we are working towards transferring the site to a new owner and new administration. We are slowly coming up to speed with the expertise necessary to keep and maintain new postings to the site.
The first of what looks to be many steps to transfer these rights necessitated a change of email address. Our new email address is andersoncreeksc@gmail.com. Feel free to email us news items, pictures and announcements. We trust that in the very near future we will be able to publish all submissions.
Thank you for your patience and please watch the site for future match schedules, news and announcements.
