Match Reports – Tom Hamilton reported the conditions for the ARA match were so bad that they did not have an official match. The results are available at www.andersoncreek.blogspot.com.

Old Business - we have received the knife donated by Steve McClure’s brother, Michael McClure.. This is a very high quality knife made by Steve’s brother who is a well known knife maker. The knife has a blade length of  3.25 inches and a total length of  7.25 inches. It is hand forged from 15N20 tool steel, flat ground, with a bronze guard and pins.

The handle has a mortised tang and is made from Sambar stag and includes a custom hand sewn horse hide leather sheath. This web site will show what the knife looks like:http://www.customknivesbymike.com/for-sale/small-game/. On a motion by Dr. Charles Bungo we will have a members only drawing for this knife to raise money to help fund the annual Steve McClure Fishing Derby. Tickets will be available at the next meeting and will sell for $10.00 each. Members may buy multiple tickets.

The recent work party replaced the door to the shooting room and did general cleanup. Thanks go out to Tom Hamilton, Roger and Bud Thomas, Carl Huss, Jeremy Smith (and kids) and Shannon McKee. Tom Noble worked on the thrower and found that the oil was extremely thick The oil was changed and the thrower has been working very well.

The fishing derby will be held next Saturday and will start at 10:00 and go until 1:00. We have a lot of prizes and anticipate a lot of attendees. The weather should be a lot nicer than last year and is expected to be in the 80’s with no rain. There will be a work party Monday 6/10/13 at 10:00 to mow and trim for the derby.

The 400 yard back stop still needs repairs. Eric McClure scheduled maintenance for the pop machine, and after a day’s delay it was still not fixed and will be replaced. It was determined that we will put a padlock on the new machine.

New Business - There will be a Steak Feed and Trap Shoot on June the 30th, contact Tom Noble if you want to participate. After a discussion by Steve Beretsel it was determined that mower repairs for consumables in the $50-60 range will be approved at the following meeting. Our club was well represented at the recent Youth Field Days. Joel Dutra, Paul Grey, Jeremy Smith and Mrty Hrin volunteered to help with the event.

Bud Thomas won the door prize .

Randy Mitchell made a motion to adjourn.

Respectfully submitted by Randy Mitchell secretary.
