Lots accomplished by work party
Despite the less than favorable conditions, 19 degrees, snow and 30 mph winds, we got a lot done at the pond today. The rose bushes to the left of the dock still need cut down, but we opened up the grove side of the pond.
If any members want to go out and cut, we want to leave all the pine trees, cut down everything else around the inside of the pond and trim back on the outside. Throw the brush and trees over the outside of the bank for the animals. We do not want to cut anything else on the club side of the pond. There is still plenty to do and we need our membership to get out and help us do it.
I want to thank Walt Kuzemchock, Andy Shaffer, Roger Thomas, Carl Huss and Steve McClure for the great job they did. I think after today, we may be eligible for "Axe Men Alaska".
