400 YARD DEER HUNTER MATCHES

DEER RIFLE CLASS
Sporter barreled actions, with functional safety, muzzle brakes allowed
Stock suitable for hunting use – no benchrest stocks or adapters
Stock bedding or replacement allowed; trigger adjustment or replacement allowed
Hunting ammunition (must be legal under PA Game Laws)
Minimum bullet diameter 6 mm
Scope maximum of 10x fixed or variable set to 10x

A TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED IN THIS CLASS AT END OF SEASON

FACTORY VARMINT CLASS
Factory (not custom shop) heavy barreled (V/T) rifles, with functional safety
Single shot or repeater action; factory stock; bipods allowed
Stock bedding and trigger adjustment (not replacement) allowed
No benchrest stocks, benchrest adapters, or flat bottom Savage rifles
Any factory caliber, any bullets, any scope power

UNLIMITED CLASS
Any rifle, any centerfire caliber under .40, any bullets, any scope power

COURSE of FIRE
Match fee: $5.00 per target
400 yards, at “life size” deer target (scored at 5,3,1,0 points)
Five shots per target in 10 minutes; no sighting shots
LOWEST five holes on target scored
Firing from the bench, with separate front and rear rests
Club provided wind flags (100, 200, 300 yards) only

1st, 2nd, 3rd places paid in deer rifle, factory varmint, and unlimited classes

IF YOU CANNOT KEEP ALL OF YOUR SHOTS WITHIN THE BACKSTOP, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE FIRING.
