Final Summer Match 10/19



Next Sunday, the 19th, will be the final summer match of the year. It will be our annual Deer Rifle Challenge. 4 deer targets at 400 yards, 5 shots each. This is for Sporter Rifles only 

  Grab your favorite deer rifle and come on out to the club. The match is open to the public. Let's see a good turnout of members also.

Groundhog Match RESULTS 10/12/25



We held our final Groundhog Match of the year on 10/12.

  25 shooters battled some of the most brutal winds we've seen here in a long time.

  Coming out on top of the Custom Class was Jeremiah Keefe, of Hastings. Finishing 2nd was Tyler Smith, of Olanta, followed by Alvin Lee of Duncansville.

  Top shot in the Factory Class was Steven Strouse, of Reynoldsville, and 2nd was Dwaine Roush of Reynoldsville.

  The group match was won by, once again, Gene Delp of Brookville. Gene fired a 5 shot group, at 400 yards, that measured 1.316".

UBR RESULTS 10/4/25



We held a group match after the UBR Match on Saturday.

  It was won by Wayne Delp of Brookville. He fired a 5 shot group, at 300 yards, that measured .676".

  Wayne won this match using his father's rifle.

Groundhog Match RESULTS 9/14/25




We held our monthly Groundhog Match on Sunday, the 14th.

Coming out on top of the Custom Class was Ed Watt of Loretto. Following in a close second was Delmas Burkett, of Punxsutawney and third was Kim Weidler of Loganton.

  The Factory Class was won by Dwaine Roush.  Gene Delp, of Brookville, was victorious in the group match by firing a 5 shot group, at 300 yards, that measured .793".

This is the 3rd match in a row that Gene Delp has won. That being said, there is a bounty on him. Come next week, win with a smaller group than Gene and there will be extra money in the pay out.

Deer Match RESULTS 8/17/25



We held our monthly 400 yard Deer Target Match today. 

  The weather today was hot, rainy, windy and calm, pretty much everything.

  The hot gun was Frank Carrier, of Summerville. He fired an almost perfect 98 out of a possible 100 points. Second was Delmas Burkett, of Punxsutawney and third was Don Renner of Rockton. David Shaw, of Curwensville, took the win in the Factory Class.

  The winner of the group match, for the second week in a row, was Gene Delp of Brookville. He fired a 5 shot group, at 400 yards that measured .726".
