Kids & Adults enjoy great day of fishing!
We had a birthday party for my grandson at the club today, 6/30/2012, and had about 25 kids and adults fishing in our pond during the afternoon.
Pictured is Emma Leonard, daughter of Brian Leonard, with a beautiful largemouth bass she caught off the dock. Everyone that was fishing had a ball with non-stop action. This was a great test for our upcoming fishing derby.
We are still in need of a few more fishing rods for prizes and volunteers to help the day of the derby. I am going to have a work party the Saturday before the derby, 7/21 at 10:00 AM, to get the area around the pond ready.
Any member that has a weed eater or push mower they can bring up to help clear areas out for the kids would be greatly appreciated.

Sniper Match (winner takes all):
Tom Hamilton 48 - 1X
The sniper match continues to get good participation, and we will continue to shoot a relay at each match.
At our test sniper match on June 10, we had seven shooters competing. Walt Kuzemchock won the match with a score of 47 out of 50. All contestants were able to keep all shots within the scoring area, no easy task with the mirage.
We may make this a complete match for next year.

Meeting Minutes
Match Reports – There were no shooters
for the rimfire match, the match dates conflict with a sanctioned match. A
discussion was held concerning rescheduling the trap and rimfire matches to
avoid conflicts. Walt reported 38 targets were shot for the deer rifle match.
The inaugural sniper match will be held 6/10/2012. The 400 yard targets
selected are equivalent to a 1200 yard competition target. Tom Noble reported

cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
