Sometime since our last meeting and today, Sunday Feb. 27, someone used the club and left the furnace turned on and the lights on in the shooting room.
We do not keep that much oil on hand for the furnace and if you turn the furnace on, please turn it off before you leave. With temperatures being what they are this time of year, the furnace would not have shut off for several days and we easily could have run out of oil.
There is garbage in the shooting room and the meeting room is a mess. Someone needs to clean the place up, particularly those who left it in that condition.

Meeting Minutes February 12th, 2011
Meeting was called to order by Jim Johnston at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th, 2011.
The January minutes were presented by Randy Mitchell and were approved as read. There was no treasurer’s report due to the absence of George McCoy.
Old Business
Charles Bungo has drafted the revision to the by-laws concerning the alcohol policy for the club. The board will review the changes before the revision to the by-laws is formally read for inclusion. A lengthy discussion concerning the changes was held by the club members.
There was no report on the purchase of a porta-pottie for the range. The club was well represented at the Grice’s show in January and many tickets were sold. Randy Mitchell reported that the draw bar for the tractor is missing, and any club member with information as to it’s location should contact Randy.
Tickets for our spring gun drawing are due at the club by the start of the March meeting, additional tickets are available from Joel Dutra, George McCoy or Randy Mitchell. We received a thank you note from the Dubois Rifle and Pistol Club for our recent donation. Walt Kuzemchock presented a plaque to Bob Huston for the High Score in Deer Rifle Matches for 2010. We have received our new 911 sign from the Grampian Penn Bloom Fire Company.
New Business
Members are encouraged to watch for a replacement oil furnace for the club house and Don O’Dell will check at Tractor Supply for a wood burner for the gun room. Tom Hamilton commended Joe Mitchell for a good job on plowing out the club house for the meeting. Jim Johnston has scheduled the 22 rimfire matches for the 4th Sunday of the month for May through October. Deer rifle shoots are scheduled for the Sunday after the Saturday meeting each month. The IBS matches are scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of every month. A discussion of the alcohol policy continued, with many members suggesting changes.
Remember: Tickets for the spring gun drawing are due at the March Meeting.
Scott Wink won the $12.00 50/50 drawing. (note: Scott is a new member and has won the 50/50 at each meeting he has attended)
Don O’Dell made a motion to adjourn and Bob McClure seconded the motion.
- Respectfully submitted by Randy Mitchell, Secretary
